Romantic summer wedding with a view of the Venetian harbor in Chania | Deborah & Luke
A few words about the wedding
Deborah and Luke chose the heart of Chania to say “I do,” and this summer day had that bright, salty feeling that only Crete knows how to offer. Between the stone buildings by the water and the clear blue of the horizon, their wedding kept a romantic tone without excess: smiles, emotion, and a quiet certainty that the setting was exactly what suited them.

The preparations flowed with a relaxed mood, small personal details, and moments that felt like they belonged only to the two of them. Deborah appeared in a lace, off-shoulder dress that highlighted her natural femininity, while the bouquet in white and burgundy shades added a classic, timeless touch. Luke, elegant in a white shirt and dark waistcoat, kept the style of the day simple and meaningful.

The ceremony, on a terrace overlooking the sea and the old town, had an intimacy that made you forget everything around you. The vows were read with sincerity and tenderness, hands were tied with multicolored ribbons, and the rings, with an intense blue stone, felt like a small nod to the water stretching beside them. And when the intensity of the moment gave way to the first laugh and a hug, the midday light made everything look even more real.

The story of this day was captured with a clear eye and beautiful, natural frames by photographer Patsiotis Photography, emphasizing the couple’s relationship and the unique atmosphere of Chania. This wedding is a lovely reminder that romantic aesthetics don’t need much: a strong story, a location that speaks for itself, and choices that remain true to who you are.
